Hey, what am I, a tour guide?
Just go to Google and search "key west". There's more than I could ever tell you.

But here are a few snippets:

You gotta love the drive down. Can't you just feel the transition from the pressures of the big city to the tempo of Margaritaville? Some of the Keys are barely wider than the roadway, with beautiful vistas all around.

To me, I always know I'm approaching Paradise when I reach Seven Mile Bridge. It really is seven miles long! I clocked it.

Remember when we read Hemingway in class? I don't either. But that doesn't stop me from appreciating that he has about 50 or 60 cats living at his house. Oh, and I like his short sentences, too. Brief. To the point. Yet somehow pithy. Or is it concise? Anyway, don't miss poppa's house.

Feel free to miss the Hemingway beard contest at Sloppy Joe's Bar.

A trip to Key West without a visit to Mallory Square at sunset is...well...you better have a good excuse! Ok, having a drink at one of the over 100 bars is a good excuse, but catch it next time. Comprende?

But seriously folks, it's fun having great acrobatic acts - and I'm talking about the trained cats and dogs - the humans are terrible...while sipping your pina colada furiously so you can get another one before the sun goes down. Ah, paradise...

Too bad we won't be around for FantasyFest. It just goes to show that we're never too old to make complete fools of ourselves. Of course, if you love traffic jams about 30 miles long getting into Key West and tons of litter in the streets...this is your place.

Oh, and that leather jock strap you were hoping to wear at halloween... consider it normal business attire during the FantasyFest week. The rest of the year, it's just weekend attire in KW.

Check out these Key West webcams. But guys, they only work during the daylight hours...duhh.

Finally, a plug. Key West Aloe has great products - all made with natural aloe, of course. If you had aloe growing around your house in P.R., like I did, you appreciate the miraculous qualities of aloe. Well, this is the real stuff, with many of their products containing as much as 98% aloe. You can't get that at Rite-Aid. A must visit. They ship so you don't have to shlep the stuff home in your suitcase. http://keywestaloe.com/
